Two Letters
August 22, 2006
George Bloomfield (Director)
What Tony Nardi is trying to do is worthy of your support. He
is reminding us of a concept that should be considered truly
important if not compulsory to every artist, and too often is
forgotten by many. "Not simply the power of story telling,
but having something to say, without special effects, without
artifice- but theatre that allows actor and text to create a
performance in the imagination of it's audience."
I was there and that is what happened.
I had the pleasure of attending Tony's reading of the first
part of his TWO LETTERS earlier this summer.
In the simplest, basically theatrical way, Tony's expression
provides a conscience
to the human condition. F...ing important. I think we need to
hear what he has to say.
